DEIB at Modern Health

Cognizant of the history and legacy of violence against BIPOC and LGBTQQIA+ communities, we have been working to provide space for those who have been historically underserved with mental health support.
Externally, we host free Circles to provide support for the broader community on topics like Healing Racial Trauma and Managing Political Anxiety. We partner with organizations like Our Collective, CS YOU, and Black Tech Pipeline in an effort to advance inclusion of underrepresented talent in tech.
Internally, the members of our Black and Latinx community have taken space with their allies and created Employee Resource Groups Modern Melanin and Mi Gente. Our full team also participates in regular trainings with DEIB leaders on topics such as allyship, anti-racism, and unconscious bias. These educational opportunities are critical to our vision of creating lasting change, because when everyone has the opportunity to unlearn and relearn together as a community, we are empowered to hold one another accountable.

Mi Gente
Mi Gente provides an inclusive and educational space for our comunidad. Our focus is on advocacy, empowerment, and liberation.
